As the king of the Northern Realm defends Waters Edge, the elves have set upon the world of men to find Legña and bring him back to pay for the treason against his own kin; though they are not the only ones to have breached the pools into the human world. An army of Nel’laf have marched through the pools with a plan to take over the realm of men, while another army marches towards Waters Edge along with the other evil creatures of Midnight.

  As more of the prophecies come to light, there are also more surprises revealed along the way as the small Elvin party A’lior is leading align themselves with the humans, knowing it is the only way to win against King Ërrin, who now possesses the black stone of Dalbhach. And as is the evil stone’s nature, the human king has also fallen to its call, in the form of a green dragon.

  When the battles converge on both worlds, the ‘chosen one’ is finally revealed atop the thousand steps, but it’s not what Legña expected, nor anyone else. The One with blood still pure is the only one who can wield the sword made with the blood of a blue dragon and forged by the blue flame.

  How had the Elvin child been hidden for so long? Who are the other elves that have lived among men that now come to the aide of those from Waters Edge, using strange Elvin gifts?
