The Elvin warriors had traveled the cursed land of Midnight many times before, but never with two inexperienced girls to hinder their journey. Now they must escort April and Rebecca through the dark realm with hopes of making it to Waters Edge before the Elvin lord of this world, and his army, discover them. More of the prophecy will be revealed, though as they encounter the ‘Specter’, it makes a demand of the ‘Chosen One’ and just to make sure they fulfill it she holds Rebecca as a surety of their return.

 

In addition to the arduous task before him, Prince A’lior now struggles with feelings for the Chosen one; can he forget the fact that many Elves were killed by the humans? Who else must sacrifice their lives for the prophecy to be fulfilled?
